How to Design a Web Page

SO you want to design and upload your own web page!?!? All you have to do is...

step 1

The first thing you need is to learn how to create an html document. You can either learn actual html code raw and type the entire thing in text with word pad!! (boring) Or you can use a programs that provides a graphical user interface (GUI) I.e Frontpage.

step 2

Get your web space. You will have to either pay for a domain name and host (professional) or find a cheap or free host (personal). I use Startlogic hosting and have been very happy with them, which is much more than I can say for NoDaddy!!! Anyway, for search engine optimization I suggest using a domain name that ties into your niche. Like HealthWoman.net for a womans health site.. Obviously.used musical instrument

step 3

Now this is where you put all your studying html to good use. Design and prepare your document. Be sure to add videos or graphics for nice visual effects (if appropriate)

step 4

Upload your site with either a File up loader you host provides, or with your own FTP client.ENJOY
